Hi, I’m Jill!

I am a Registered Social Worker and a mom of 2 teenagers. I combine my own experiences as a parent with a solid understanding of attachment and child development, along with 20 years of professional experience. I work with children (age 10+) and families toward growth and healing through evidence-based therapy approaches. As a clinician, I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness to meet adolescents where they are in their life journey. I always work from a strength-based perspective and believe psycho-education is a significant component of therapy. I am dedicated to creating meaningful connections with my clients and working collaboratively with families to achieve goals and improve family functioning. If your child is overwhelmed with feelings of anxiousness, struggles with regulating their emotions, has problems with relationships, struggles with low self-esteem, or engages in self-defeating and/or self-harming behaviours, therapy can help your child overcome these challenges. I support adolescents with behavioural, emotional, and relational difficulties by designing interventions to help them learn to cope, communicate, self-regulate, and become more emotionally expressive.

Hello! My name is William Fitzgerald, and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I previously received my Bachelor of Arts with an Honors Specialization in Kinesiology, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. My academic background has provided me with a strong understanding of the mind-body connection, which I incorporate into my counselling approach by using therapeutic applications based on mindfulness. Along with mindfulness, I primarily utilize cognitive-behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and solution-focused therapy, as I prefer to focus on a client’s strengths. Throughout my professional career, I have worked with individuals with anger issues, anxiety, developmental and learning issues, stress from large life changes, confidence and self-esteem issues, depression, as well as sleep difficulties and nightmares.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I have four nieces, with two more on the way. In the summer, you can catch me swimming in the pool or playing volleyball, but in the winter, I am more likely to be on the couch watching Netflix or Disney+.

I am a friendly and outgoing individual and I strive to connect with my clients to create a comfortable environment. To do this, I emphasize active participation in the development of treatment plans and collaborate with clients to determine therapeutic goals. My personal goal is to help children, teens, and families develop their own coping strategies, which will thereby empower them and allow them to see their full potential.

I look forward to working together in the future!

Hello, I’m Christine! I am an intern therapist currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I practice from a client-centred lens, believing that the provision of a soft, empathetic, and trusting therapeutic relationship provides children, adolescents, and families with the space to explore challenges, recognize strengths already available, and develop the skills, understanding, and insight to cultivate hope and healing. I am astounded by the complex interconnection of our physical, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual selves and seek to use integrative approaches that are responsive to each client’s goals and identified needs.

I am a mother of three high school and elementary aged kids. I am sensitive to the challenges and feelings of overwhelm that can accompany one’s parenting journey as well as the many factors that can make it a struggle to cope as a child or teenager. I seek to work collaboratively with families, recognizing the vulnerability and courage that it takes to seek support.

I have 17 years of experience working as a child life specialist in pediatric health care, supporting children, adolescents, and their families through chronic and acute illness and associated medical experiences, developing emotional regulation and coping strategies, and supporting families in life adjustment, grief, and loss. I bring the experience of a trauma-informed, developmental approach to my counselling. I often find myself humbled to witness the courage and resiliency within children, teens, and their families that strengthens when partnered with compassionate individualized support.

I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and your family.

Hi! I’m Ali!

I’m a Registered Social Worker and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I’m also a daughter, sister, friend, wife, and most importantly, dog mom to Len.

Therapy came into my life during a time that I was being confronted with a lot of the realities that show up when we don’t deal with our stuff. It wasn’t easy to acknowledge that I was part of the problem and for my life to improve I was going to need to make some changes. Starting therapy was an anxiety-provoking experience, I didn’t know what to expect, what to say, or how it was going to help. All I knew is that I didn’t want the alternative, so I continued to push myself to show up willingly, vulnerably, and courageously. What I didn’t know was that I would completely fall in-love with therapy, healing wounds, and self-growth. It’s what motivated and inspired me to become a therapist.

As I’ve worked through my own personal struggles, I appreciate the vulnerability and anxiety that can arise when you decide to heal and share your story. Mental health shouldn’t feel stigmatized or shamed, addressing our mental health and learning about us, allows us to make decisions that are best for us. We are creating a blueprint for ourselves to know how to be the best version of ourselves.

My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, calming, and comfortable space to feel heard, validated, and seen. To work through deep wounds, celebrate success and all the in between. I will hold space for you and sit with you in difficult moments, because sometimes it’s just knowing we aren’t alone and someone sees us.

As a therapist, I hope to contribute to the de-stigmatization of mental health, normalize self-growth, healing, and wellness, and help my clients become the best version of themselves.
